For me, probably the most important thing to experience while traveling abroad is the food.  The essence of a culture is in its food.  Be it North African couscous and lamb tagine, Middle Eastern hummus and falafel, or Mexican moles, every corner of the world has their own special way of sharing culture through sustenance.  They have used this food for centuries to provide for their families and to entertain their guests.  While on this jaunt around the world for the next seven months, I'm planning on doing everything I can to experience the local food culture and write about it here.  I hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I enjoy writing about it.

Not enough time
