I'm not the healthiest eater. I don't like to cook, and so I either eat out (my favorite place being Heirloom Cafe, claro) or make myself a quesadilla or something frozen.

I didn't think I ate a lot of vegetables, but clearly that was by Californian standards. But these past few weeks can I only ate meat and potatoes, which started off as awesome and ended with me desperately ordering a veggie burger and a salad at a brew pub while (in a complete reverse of opinion) complaining that corn is not a vegetable. This paired with the constant 90-100+ degree weather that I've encountered in Florida, then Missouri, then New York, which prevented us from doing too much outside all translated into a 6 pound weight gain.

Am I worried? Not really. Yesterday was our first solo travel day - and I could feel the glorious burn. Somehow my bag gained weight as well and swelled from 34 to 37.5 pounds, which I can hopefully pare down by ditching something in these last few hours before I leave. But after walking with all our belongings over a mile to get to our Hamptons Chitney Bus, I know in a few weeks I'll burn it all off and have some killer quads.
